A pair of simple, hand forged sterling silver star studs, lightly hammered to give a shimmering, dappled finish.

These simple studs  are hand drawn and pierced from 1mm thick silver so while they feel light in the ear, they have a lovely thickness to them. Each may be slightly uneven in shape as they are cut by hand deliberately to give a beautiful, handmade finish.

each measures approximately 8mm high.

All my pieces are designed, hand forged and created by me, in my pink wooden Shepherds Hut studio on the Gower Coast in South Wales.

I only use the highest quality sterling silver, gold and gemstones for my jewellery, and all items are nickel free. items over 7g of Silver or 1g of gold will be hallmarked, with their purity, date letter and makers mark.

Due to each piece being hand formed with care, each piece will be ever so slightly different from the next, making each uniquely beautiful.

  • Silver jewellery will stay looking pristine for longer if you follow a few guidelines.

Silver does not like strong chemicals, such as perfume, lotions, some make-up and cleaning products, and exposure to these may tarnish or discolour your jewellery, try to avoid direct contact with these if possible.

Chlorine and bleach in particular can discolour your jewellery leaving it black or with black patches, so it’s a good idea to remove your jewellery before you have a swim.

When not being worn, keep your jewellery in an airtight jewellery box or container.

Avoid wearing your jewellery whilst doing vigorous exercise, or when sleeping, to minimise heavy wear which may spoil the finish and appearance of your jewellery, especially if it contains softer gemstones such as moonstone or opal.

Silver and gold are soft metals and will develop a natural patina over time and with wear, which can add to the beauty, but following these guidelines will prolong the polished surfaces for longer.
